•
Dedicated and energetic board and committee members to lead this initiative
to fruition.
• Outreach
- media-savvy people who can get the word out and set up interviews with
media, write opinion pieces and columns in papers.
• Researchers
to help gather data on existing rideshare programs and usage; areas of
market; transportation needs; possibly intermodal development, etc.
• Technical
wizards who can help us develop “requirements specifications” for a great
rideshare engine that could eventually expand to serve ever-wider areas
and needs.
• Grant writing
help. We have identified potential funding sources and we need help
to apply for grants. We could also use additional help identifying
more funding sources.
• Volunteers
and help recruiting volunteers. We need your help using media, web
tools, and other means to garner more volunteers.
• Legal assistance
and advice. We need to address issues of organizational structure,
liability, etc.
• Financial
assistance and advice. We need to have a dedicated and diligent person
to manage our financial affairs, ideally becoming Treasurer.
