OVERVIEW:
To achieve
its mission and objectives
in an acceptable time frame, RideBuzz will need many talents and kinds
of support from an array of disciplines, plus a committed and dedicated
board of directors and group of volunteers. We will therefore be
holding a major presentation & outreach meeting and community forum
on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at
the Jones Library, Large Meeting Room, 43 Amity St., Amherst, MA (map).
We are inviting many of the area's experts, supporters of alternative energy
and transportations systems, supportive citizens, and potential users of
carpooling networks to come and get in on the "ground floor" to launch
this initiative.
The meeting
will serve to:
-
Present an outstanding
solution to several big problems we face as a society
-
Fully explain
what RideBuzz is about
-
Seek input and
feedback from participants in a forum format
-
Recruit help in
a variety of capacities
-
Decide how best
to further organize and proceed as a larger community
A flyer
for the meeting is available for download at this link (Adobe Acrobat
pdf format, approx 700 kB).
